Remote Mainframe Java DeveloperThe Mainframe Java Developer will help modernize, move to cloud, and create one IDM Portal rather than separate applications with a large healthcare client.Top ResponsibilitiesHands on developer who can code and leadAttend agile meetingsAttend design sessions for the modernizationDevelop, test, and set up infrastructureProvide operational supportRequired skills/technologiesSkilled Java Developer with 8+ years of experience using Java (version 8+ or newer)At least 5 years of experience with API development with Graph QL or RESTExperience modernizing monolithic applications from on prem to cloud (AWS preferred)Experience working with Spring Framework (Spring boot/Spring batch/Spring cloud)Experience with Rexx on backend developmentExperience with RACF as an IDM toolExperience with Mainframe automation (SailPoint preferred)At least 1 year of cloud experience using AWS/GCPExperience with NoSQL and/or Graph DBStrong test automation/TDD experienceDev Ops experience building CI/CD pipelines
