Pay: $21-$26/Hr

Location: Fremont, CA

Schedule: Multiple Shifts Available (Start times at 7 a.m. and 9:30 a.m) + Overtime

Assembler Job Description:

PrideStaff is working with a local electronics manufacturer that is seeking multiple assemblers to join their growing team. The Assembler position is a long-term opportunity with the ability to learn and advance within the organization. The Assemblers will work as assembly technicians and operators, using hand tools to perform technical assembly and testing of electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies. The ideal Assembler has prior experience in manufacturing, the ability to use hand tools, and strong attention to detail. The Assembler is a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Fremont, CA.

Assembler Job Responsibilities:

Perform Assigned Assembly Operations that may Include Assembly of Electro-Mechanical Components & Sub-Assemblies

Use Hand Tools Effectively, Including Screwdrivers, Wrenches & Specialized Equipment

Inspect Work Area to Ensure Necessary Tools, Consumables, Fixtures & Parts are Available and Current; Report Any Missing or Expired Materials Promptly to Supervisor or Cell Lead

Report Assembly Issues, Discrepancies, or SOP Quality Concerns to Cell Leaders

Maintain a Clean, Organized Workstation Adhering Strictly to 5S Methodology Standards

Perform all Duties Safely & Proactively Notify team Leaders of Unsafe Conditions or Hazards

Attend all Mandatory Safety Meetings & Technical Training Sessions

Follow all PPE & Safety Guidelines

Other Duties as Assigned

Assembler Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Prior Experience in Manufacturing or Electro-mechanical Assembly

Knowledge & Skill with Basic Hand Assembly & Mechanical Tools

Strong Attention to Detail & Ability to Read, Understand & Follow Precise Technical SOP’s

Ability to Read, Write & Communicate in English

Ability to Lift & Carry 30-50lbs Regularly
