Operates computer equipment and monitors production activities according to predefined procedures. Process workload according to pre-defined procedures; maintain computer room/building security; maintain production processing cycles and tape library records; and maintain service backups. Provides assistance and guidance to operator trainees as needed.

Essential Job Responsibilities__________________________________

• 1. Polices procedures in effect and reports any violations to Systems Services.
• 2. Monitors security of data center and the building according to defined security procedures.
• 3. Files incident reports accurately and timely when required.
• 4. Constantly verifies that established production checkpoint procedures are followed.
• 5. Produces microfiche and distributes reports accurately and timely.
• 6. Maintains good communication with staff operating the sorter and printer.
• 7. On-call for Systems Services 24x7.

Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications___________________________

• 1. Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2. One (1) year of previous experience preferred.
• 3. Proficient reading, writing, and grammar skills; proficient analytical and mathematical skills; proficient communicative and interpersonal relations skills.
• 4. Moderate computer skills and knowledge of software systems required.
