Job DutiesIncumbent typical work assignments may include the following:Directs the comprehensive evaluation of the FMTS program to ensure absolute alignment with Department of War (DoW) Total Force Management (TFM) objectives and emerging statutory requirements.Executes advanced financial, budgetary, and acquisition analysis to optimize the FMTS multi-year budget and contracting strategy.Serves as the principal financial advisor to the PM, navigating the complexities of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) cycle within a constrained fiscal environment.Directs the comprehensive evaluation of programmatic risk, ensuring that FMTS operates in strict compliance with statutory, regulatory, and audit mandates.Serves as the principal management analyst and liaison between the FMTS technical development team and high-level DoW functional stakeholders.Serves as the primary analytical authority for the FMTS Change Control Board (CCB). Instead of merely tracking tickets, the incumbent evaluates every proposed system change against a matrix of cost, schedule, technical feasibility, and strategic ROI.
