Directs and manages all costs, quality, schedule, financial, and technical performance requirements that are levied on the subcontractor or the product family and is required to ensure performance and support of the contract milestones of the system. Develops sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program capture needs, execution, and risk management. Acts as the main focal point to the subcontractor and program management office. Responsible for and directs all phases of the subcontract from initiation of the business case for make or buy decisions through requests for proposals, transition to program startup, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, program execution, and contract closeout. Makes informed decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor. Establishes milestone objectives to manage performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications. Leads a cross-functional team, normally composed of engineers, quality, and procurement personnel, to ensure successful subcontract execution and program delivery.Basic QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or universitybackground with subcontract management of cost, quality, schedule and program performanceExperience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)Experience in Aerospace & Defense (A & D) Industry, driving results within a metric based environmentDemonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple functionsDesired Skills• Experience with supply chain management or buying or procurement or related field• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) • Demonstrated working knowledge of Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP)Sustainment Line of Buisness full life cycle experienceExperience addressing & resolving complex matters/solutions with Senior Leadership, customers & suppliersDemonstrated organizational skills to handle multiple overlapping projects, simultaneouslySelf-starter and willingness to learnExperience in training, coaching, and mentoring new and emerging talentProgram Management or Project Management experience.Able to think and act strategically and tactically from a broad business perspective.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $ - $ At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
