Data Scientist - TS/SCI with Poly

Job Description

Data ScientistKey Skills:Active TS/SCI with PolygraphData Science experiencePython and/or RMachine Learning/Computer Vision/Object DetectionPytorch, Keras, and overhead imagerySummary of Position: You will join a skilled team applying cutting-edge research in a complex and evolving data environment. Develop code to perform complex modeling to detect and characterize objects (using Python, TensorFlow, Pytorch, and related software packages) and enhance evolving analytic tradecraft. You will integrate data from a variety of sources, formats, and disciplines into coherent databases, train foundation models to advance the Intelligence Community, fine-tune models to address real intelligence questions, and write compelling documentation and reports for decision-makers. This position will be part of our Defense and Intelligence Team serving the Intelligence Community as our primary customer. Essential Functions:Conceptual, quantitative, organizational, research, writing, verbal communication, and graphical representation skills.Sound judgment and creative problem-solving and independent working skills.Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to work with individuals and organizations, including varying levels and types (government, industry, and academia).Facilitation skills to bring diverse groups together on issues and reach consensus across stakeholdersAbility to perform complex analyses and communicate results using accurate, concise, and effective writing, as well as descriptive and graphical representations.Technical understanding of the systems supporting aspects of the functional areas.Knowledge of standard tools (e.g., the Sponsor's various computing networks, Microsoft Office Products) and a demonstrated ability to learn to use and support other tools that may be added or developed as the program evolves.Flexibility in assisting with ad hoc tasks and adjusting as tasks are re-prioritized.Job Specifications/Requirements:Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.Bachelor's degree in a technical field (computer science, mathematics, statistics, etc.) with 3 years of relevant experience.Data Science experience.Python and/or R.Machine Learning/Computer Vision/Object Detection.Desired Skills:Prior experience with Pytorch, Keras, and overhead imagery would be beneficial but not required.Master's degree in a technical field (computer science, mathematics, statistics, etc.) with 1 year of relevant experience.Bachelor's degree in a technical field (computer science, mathematics, statistics, etc.).
