About the Role: Night Auditor

As our Night Auditor, you will play an integral role in delivering an exceptional guest experience while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

This role is ideal for someone who brings a passion for hospitality, takes ownership, and is committed to continuous improvement and results.

Your Impact

You will support day-to-day operations, support team performance, and ensure service standards are consistently delivered. You’ll act as a bridge between leadership and frontline teams—driving accountability, engagement, and results.

Responsibilities

Perform nightly audit procedures to ensure all daily financial transactions are accurate and balanced.

Process guest check-ins and check-outs during overnight hours while providing exceptional customer service.

Reconcile room revenue, payments, cash transactions, and credit card settlements.

Prepare and distribute daily operational and financial reports for hotel management.

Respond promptly to guest requests, questions, and concerns, resolving issues professionally and efficiently.

Answer incoming phone calls, make reservations, and provide information about hotel services and amenities.

Monitor hotel security by conducting routine property walks and ensuring guest safety during overnight hours.

Coordinate with housekeeping, engineering, and security teams to address overnight operational needs.

Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.

Handle cash, maintain accurate records, and balance the front desk cash drawer at the end of each shift.

Assist with early morning departures and prepare the front office for the day shift.

Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Technical / Role-Specific Requirements

Previous front desk, guest services, hotel, or night audit experience preferred.

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and cash-handling procedures.

Experience with hotel property management systems, Opera preferred.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours.

Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required
