Warehouse And Distribution SupervisorThis employee supervises the daily operations of warehouse and distribution departments by ensuring the development, implementation, and compliance of all operational policies and procedures with special emphasis on ACHC, OSHA, and FDA guidelines.Responsibilities:Responsible for overseeing purchasing related processesexplore and propose new and improved approaches for saving time and moneyOversees shipping related activitiesexplores and implements alternative cost saving opportunitiesOversees facilities and maintenance requirements and ensures warehouse interior and exterior is maintained in the cleanest, safest, most efficient mannerTrain, Coordinate, and motivate Cleaning and Function Testing personnelCompiles and submits Performance Improvement requirements and recommendationsSupervisory Responsibilities:Manages team of employeesresponsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these unitsCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable lawsinterviewing, hiring, and training employeesplanning, assigning, and directing workappraising performancerewarding and disciplining employeesaddressing complaints and resolving problemsPhysical Demands:The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.Education/Experience:Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is requiredAt least five years related experience is requiredshould have knowledge of Word Processing software
