Project Executive—Construction Mechanical

Job Overview DynaTen, a Comfort Systems USA Company, is seeking a Project Executive to join our Construction team. The Project Executive will lead a team of Project Managers, oversee multiple commercial mechanical and/or plumbing construction projects, and ensure delivery of high‑quality results on time and within budget.

Responsibilities Lead teams of Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers.

Oversee commercial mechanical and/or plumbing construction projects, ensuring construction follows design specifications, budget, and schedule.

Review project plans and specifications; build project schedules; recommend cost‑saving measures and identify potential construction problems.

Prepare job cost breakdowns, schedule of values, and review / approve project billings.

Coordinate with general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors on project schedules, RFIs, and change orders.

Order mechanical and/or plumbing materials, ensuring delivery aligns with project schedules.

Coordinate with field superintendents on manpower needs and adjust resources as required.

Conduct and attend pre‑construction and post‑construction meetings.

Manage multiple projects of varying scope simultaneously.

Maintain continuous communication with office personnel, GC, owners, and others as needed.

Complete all required documentation electronically.

Oversee and continuously monitor site safety for all personnel.

Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned.

Focus on safety and model best safety practices for team members.

Serve as a direct customer contact and positively represent the DynaTen brand.

Provide annual employee performance feedback to team members.

Qualifications 10+ years of experience on commercial mechanical or plumbing construction projects (including healthcare, medical gas, educational, institutional, military, etc.).

Experience managing projects ranging in size and scope with a minimum contract value of $20M.

Proven experience leading direct reports.

Familiarity with project cost to complete, project financials, and project close‑outs.

OSHA 10‑Hour and OSHA 30‑Hour certification required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Significant aptitude for construction.

Positive attitude, professionalism, self‑motivation.

Ability to work as both an individual contributor and a team player.
