As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Farmers Branch, TX.Technical Experience Core EngineeringAdvanced Java expertiseRESTful API design and implementationSource control using GitAuthentication and authorization servicesAPI management platforms (Apigee)Strong understanding of modern security best practicesObservability & Monitoring (Key Addition)Strong experience improving application observability in enterprise environmentsHands on experience with Dynatrace for APM, performance analysis, and root cause investigationExperience using Elastic Search / Elastic Stack for centralized logging, querying, and correlationUnderstanding of distributed systems monitoring, metrics, and tracingDevOps & DeliveryCI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent)Enterprise DevOps best practicesSupporting deployments and diagnostics across multiple environmentsLeadershipExperience leading and influencing engineers without direct authorityProven ability to resolve complex production, performance, and reliability issuesPNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance.
