The Load Balancing Engineer will be responsible for providing support for Load Balancing infrastructure for Bank of America. Main responsibilities will include building relationships with the Line of Businesses (LOB), become member of a global team of load balancing engineers, further improve and maintain Service Request Fulfillment (SRF) process and standards as part of a larger team that is responsible for the health and welfare of the Bank's Load Balancing infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end lifecycle and delivery of Application Delivery infrastructureCreate designs based on industry best practices, engineering standards and security principlesEnsure security controls are implemented and operating effectively as part of solutions deliveryLifecycle management – code upgrades, vulnerability patching and EOL replacement programsCreate detailed implementation plans and runbooks for downstream execution teamsManage a wide variety of technology infrastructure and business aligned projectsCollaborate with engineering and operations teams from service design through operations transition process for new servicesPerform design validationThis role requires 5 days away per quarter mandate by the clientThis role requires working on-site at the client's office three days per weekBasic Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of work experience.F5 LTM and GTM1 or more years of F5 APM and ASM experience1 or more years AVI VMware experience, CCNP, F5 201, and or demonstrated equivalent work experienceAble to effectively troubleshoot advanced networking issues in a complex environment with knowledge of commonly used protocols BGP, HTTPS, TCP IP, and SSLStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills, and ability to collaborate with other technical areas to define complex configuration designsSubject matter expertise in load balancers, DNS, and SSL offloadingFunctional understanding of F5 s API iControl and application integrationMust have expertise in application switching and traffic management, deep knowledge of application requirements such as persistence, understanding of SSL offload and implementation of SSL certificates and keys, web acceleration, and TCP optimizationUnderstanding of SSL Certificate Private Key Infrastructure PKI in SSL certificate and key management and rollover processesExpertise in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise level network security technologiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills ability to present at an executive levelExperience managing large, globally dispersed teams of engineersNetwork engineering and or technology management experienceAbility to interact with clients at all levelsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with root cause analysis, risk mitigation, security assessments, and analysis of security threats, trends, and architectureFunctional knowledge of F5 advanced feature modules including Web Accelerator, Application Security Module, and Application Policy ModuleFirm understanding of IT Service Management processes; ITIL Certification preferredPython development experience and Bash scripting experienceUse of mitigation methods including network packet filters and iRulesBA/BS degree or equivalent experienceTechnology Infrastructure Organization:Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutionsExcels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forwardExperience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs – is a continuous learnerCommitment to challenging the status quo and promoting positive changeParticipate in and drive collaborative efforts to advance tools, technology, and ways of working to better serve an evolving client baseBelieves in value of diversity so we can reflect, connect, and meet the diverse needs of our clients and employees around the worldCompensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
