Construction Project Manager

Top NYC CM / GC focused on large scale institutional projects seeks Project Manager with strong MEP background to manage several hundred million dollars worth of security / low voltage electrical scope on a major project.. You are not required to have a super strong electrical background, or experience specifically with low voltage, but it would be helpful.

Our client is managing a Multi-Billion Dollar design build project in the Bronx and requires a PM who will be able to work both in lower Manhattan and in the lower Bronx. This role requires the following:

Manage assigned trade scopes from DD through to construction close out (5 + year project)

Lead coordination between trades, consultants and project team

Help drive DB process including design review and design assist efforts

Participate in BIM coordination meetings and work with VDC teams and trade partners to resolve clashes and conflicts

Coordinate Specialty Architectural Scopes - partitions, enclosures, access panels, ceilings, and furnishings

Coordinate Security System Components like access control, intercom, video surveillance, and aligned systmes.

Facilitate meetings, document decisions, and track issues to completion

If you feel you CAN do all of that, this is the experience we require that you have:

Some MEP Exposure in your project history

Minimum 7 years of relevant construction experience

Projects over $50-75 million (this one is multi-billion, and your scope responsibility will be several hundred million)

Experience coordinating, organizing, and troubleshooting on projects as the lead for certain scopes of work

Strong ability to read drawings - including basic low voltage security drawings and diagrams

Experience on large scale highly coordinated institutional projects

Salary: 160-200k, depending on experience

Bonus: Eligible, Discretionary
