Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Experience in understanding mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Experience or demonstrated capability in mechanical design and product development.
Proficiency with CAD (Creo) and PLM tools.
Strong problem solving and communication skills.
Should be able to work independently on design conceptual jobs
Hands on experience in Creo-Part, Assembly and Surfacing to generate Concept Models
Should have hands on experience in designing of sheet metals, plastic parts.
Should have hands on experience in practical knowledge of GD&T, Manufacturing drawings
Knowledge on phases of the design process and development process for Automotive components including drafting, dimensioning, tolerancing, prototyping, ECN, PPAP and documenting results would be an added advantage
Knowledge on different automotive product design and sheet metal press tools, fixture and gauge design, reverse engineering, Stack‑Up, VAVE would be an added advantage.
