The Pharmacist will lead the daily activities of the pharmacy, supervise staff, and play a central role in advancing Fitzgerald Pharmacy's commitment to personalized, community-based care.Position ResponsibilitiesOversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining accurate prescription and billing recordsInterpret, verify, and dispense medications while counseling patients on their safe and effective useCollaborate with prescribers on prescription clarifications, formulary alternatives, and cost-effective treatment optionsLead and support pharmacy staff, including pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, and student internsManage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, verification, and removal of expired medicationsAdminister vaccines and injectable medications while following established quality, safety, and infection control standardsFoster strong relationships with patients and healthcare providers while supporting Fitzgerald Pharmacy's commitment to exceptional community careQualificationsBachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy programActive and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the State of WisconsinFederal DEA registration and certification to administer vaccinesComprehensive knowledge of pharmacology, formulary management, and dispensing proceduresStrong analytical, communication, and leadership skillsCommitment to patient safety, accuracy, and ethical pharmacy practiceProficiency with pharmacy management systems and Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift or move up to 25 poundsEqual Opportunity EmployerFitzgerald Pharmacy is an equal opportunity employer.
