Job Description

CTG is seeking to fill a Construction Project Manager position for our client.

Location: Elk Grove Village, IL

Duration: Long-Term Contract with Potential for Hire

Position Overview

The Construction Project Manager will oversee the renovation and buildout of a facility being converted into a manufacturing site. This role will manage contractors, permitting, inspections, facility infrastructure, project schedules, budgets, and safety requirements from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities

Manage construction and facility renovation projects from planning through completion.

Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, utilities, and local authorities.

Manage permitting, inspections, project documentation, schedules, budgets, and change orders.

Oversee electrical, mechanical, compressor, office, bathroom, and other facility infrastructure projects.

Monitor construction progress and ensure project milestones are met.

Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire codes, and site safety requirements.

Provide project status updates to leadership and stakeholders.

Identify and resolve construction issues, schedule conflicts, and project risks.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of construction, facilities, or industrial project management experience.

Experience with manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, commercial, or facility renovation projects.

Strong knowledge of construction project management, permitting, inspections, scheduling, and contractor management.

Working knowledge of OSHA and fire/life safety regulations.

Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience coordinating electrical and mechanical infrastructure projects preferred.

Manufacturing facility startup, expansion, or buildout experience preferred.

PMP, CCM, Construction Management degree, or related credentials preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75.00 to $85.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
