Program Assistant

Pay: $13.50 Hourly

Campus: Health Sciences Center (HSC) - Albuquerque, NM

Department: Pediatrics Center for Development (997H)

Employment Type: Student Employment

Status: Non-Exempt

Background Check Required: No

Hours: 6-8 hours per week, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 8 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Location: Health Sciences Center (HSC) - Albuquerque, NM

Position Summary

**WE ARE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION FROM ALL STUDENTS REGARDLESS OF WORK STUDY AWARD**

The Center for Development and Disability is seeking a responsible and reliable student to provide general administrative support, prior work experience is not necessary.We’re looking for a dependable student who is available to work 6-8 hours per week Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, between the hours of 8 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Our office is located off campus.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

Maintaining complex and confidential filing systems

Purging and archiving paper and electronic records

Data entry

Copying and scanning

Delivering confidential and time-sensitive documents to other UNM departments

Creating and editing documents

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to maintain discretion in the handling of confidential information

Excellent skills with organization and attention to detail.

Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written.

Able to become eligible to operate a UNM Vehicle (valid driver’s license and completing a Defensive Driving Course).
