Sr. Software EngineerOverview: Looking for a Sr. Software Engineer at onsite US to handle projects in the insurance domain with rich experience in data warehouse projects performing ETL & BI testing. Should have worked in onsite offshore model with rich client handling experience. Should be able to support offshore team from onsite in extended hours.Job Responsibilities:Participate in requirement gatheringEstimation of work and involve in resource planningDefine program level test strategy for ETL & ReportingDocument test scenarios and define test data approachManage day to day project deliverables along with team members at offshore and onsiteReview project artifacts prepared by team membersExperience working in Agile environmentStrong exposure to tools like AbInitio, CognosExpert in data warehouse testing – ETL, BI – reports & cubesStrong database knowledge- Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MySQLGood knowledge of Client ALMExcellent communication skills for coordination with all the project stakeholders including businessMetrics & Governance reporting to stakeholdersInsurance Domain experience preferred.Personal Attributes:Highly motivated, with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a challenging work environmentStrong team player with good organization, planning and leadership skillsExcellent interpersonal skills, including oral/written communication & influencing skillsExceptional presentation, business writing and professional standardsGood analytical, diagnostic and creative problem solving skillsHands on experience performing ETL testing
