Position

YOUR ROLE AT REEL USA

From Springfield and reporting functionaly to the Director of Engineering, you will work closely with the Design Office multidisciplinary team located in Canada on the design, integration, and implementation of major tailor-made mechanical equipment’s to the strictest specifications of our customers.

How Your Will Make An Impact

Mechanical design of equipment (mechanisms, structures, ergonomics, machine safety);

3D modeling;

Calculations and sizing of structures and mechanisms;

Selection of commercial components with specifications / technical specifications;

Development of technical documents.

Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the design of structures or mechanically welded assemblies

Professional Engineer (PE) License

Knowledge of ASME standards for design and fabrication

Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

Good knowledge of Autocad and Inventor software (an asset)

Knowledge of STAAD, ANSYS, MATHCAD, S-FRAME software (an asset)
