You'll leverage your expertise in database design and development to create robust solutions that enhance continuous monitoring, assessment, and data gathering throughout project lifecycles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop workflows, database structures, and parsing software that meet the evolving needs of the organization while ensuring efficient data retrieval and management.You Will Excel in this Role if You Are:Innovative and Forward-Thinking: Capable of envisioning and implementing automated solutions for complex database challengesTechnical and Detail-Oriented: Experienced in designing and developing database structures that align with overarching system architecturesCollaborative and Communicative: Comfortable working with teams to integrate database capabilities with various front-end applications and servicesProficient in Modern Technologies: Skilled in using contemporary frameworks and tools for database development and managementA Day in the Life:Develop and maintain database structures that fit seamlessly into the overall system architectureLead the creation of new workflows to replace existing manual processes, enhancing efficiencyProvide technical expertise for database design, implementation, and data analysisSupport the development and testing of Python-based ReST endpoints and microservices using Django and Flask frameworksInteract with databases such as MariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL to send data in JSON format to UI front endsMust Haves:TS/SCI clearance with polygraphBachelor's degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Database Engineer in similar programs and contractsProficiency in Python and experience with databases like MongoDB or MariaDBExperience using Django or Flask for web application developmentUnderstanding of ReST endpoints and microservice architectureNice to Have:Familiarity with Swagger for API documentationExperience with AWS, C2S, or other cloud computing environmentsKnowledge of Docker for containerizationProficiency with IDEs like Visual Studio CodeUnderstanding of JSON and XML serializationFamiliarity with Jira, Confluence, and Git version controlExperience working in an Agile development environmentClearEdge is an established small business that values its employees and is committed to providing an environment where individuals can succeed and grow.
