Catering Assistant

Responsibilities

• Customer Service – demonstrate characteristics of excellence in customer service, follow CARES standards at all times, respond to requests quickly and effectively, understand customer needs and expectations and meet them.
• Communication – effectively convey relevant information, keep key leadership and schedulers informed of new requests and changes, post required schedules to ensure customers have information.
• Problem Solving – assist guests whenever possible, act as the first line of problem resolution, refer all requests beyond the scope of responsibility to management.
• Room Setup – read and interpret function set‑up sheets and set up rooms accordingly, set up banquet equipment, ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all banquet equipment.
• Organization – keep work environment and equipment well organized and in good condition, report broken equipment or lights to management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No directly related experience required.

Primary location: Burnet Campus.

Schedule: Part time, shift rotating.

Employee status: Stand‑by.

Paid status: FTE 0; weekly hours: 0.

Annualized pay may vary based on FTE status: $16.50 – $19.80.
