This role plays a crucial part in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and upholding warehouse safety standards. The Warehouse Associate will work closely with the warehouse team and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.Safe use of production equipment to include, but not limited to floor cutting machine, order picker, pallet jack, forkliftReceive incoming shipments of materials and products, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage or discrepanciesAccurately record and label received items, and organize them in designated storage locations within the warehouseRetrieve and pack materials and products for customer orders according to picking lists and packing instructionsPrepare orders for shipment by packaging items securely, labeling packages with shipping information, and arranging for carrier pickup or deliveryPerform regular inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepanciesAssist with inventory replenishment by restocking shelves and picking materials from storage locations as neededMaintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by sweeping floors, emptying trash bins, and keeping aisles and storage areas clear of obstructionsOperate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, safely and efficiently to move materials and products as requiredFollow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleaguesCollaborate with other warehouse team members and department supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet daily production goalsPerform other duties as assigned by warehouse management or supervisory staffHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferredForklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plusBasic math and computer skills, including the ability to use inventory management software and handheld devicesPhysical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basisAttention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks such as counting, labeling, and recording inventoryStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a teamWillingness to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and proceduresAll offers of employment are contingent upon a background checkValid Driver's License is requiredYour information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines
