Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Warehouse Associate role based in San Diego, CA. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving and verifying incoming shipments, unloading delivery trucks, and organizing inventory in the warehouse. Daily tasks include picking and packing orders, preparing products for shipment, and ensuring items are accurately labeled and staged for delivery. The role involves operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe manner, maintaining a clean and orderly work area, and supporting basic inventory control activities. The Warehouse Associate collaborates with team members to meet deadlines, support customer orders, and uphold AV Plus’s standards for accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience with shipping & receiving processes and basic inventory handling.
• Skills in packing orders efficiently and accurately for delivery or pickup.
• Ability to safely perform unloading tasks for incoming shipments and deliveries.
• Competence in forklift operation, following safety protocols and certification requirements as needed.
• Ability to use pallet jack equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and reliability in a warehouse environment.
• Capacity to lift and move materials as required and to stand for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
• Prior warehouse or distribution experience preferred; AV or electrical products knowledge is a plus.
