Job Description

Application Security AnalystThe client is seeking an Application Security Analyst to:Conduct manual application security assessments using dynamic and static methodologiesUnderstand a broad range of application security issues, mitigation strategies, and common application security controlsKnow common web security testing tools (e.g., Burp, OWASP Zap)Perform source code reviews and know secure coding best practicesDetermine and communicate the risk associated with assessment findingsAuthor assessment deliverables that fully detail the technical execution, core deficiencies, business impact, and realistic remediation strategiesHave previous software development experience (a plus)Have excellent communication skillsWork experience: 6+ years required.
