Electrical Engineer PositionSelectek is seeking highly experienced Electrical Engineers for a senior role on a permanent basis. Our partnering company, located in Houston, Texas, needs candidates with strong backgrounds in power and lighting distribution to oversee infrastructural and educational projects. Employment Type: Permanent. Expected Pay Range: $117,000-$170,000 annually, depending on experience and certification level. Location: Dallas, Texas.Job Requirements:BS Electrical EngineeringProfessional Engineer or EIT4 plus years of experience in MEPAutoCAD and Revit drawingsIn addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client's request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.Job Details:Write, edit, and produce the accompanying specifications for each client project with no supervisionReview and approve shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, addendums, and other construction documents as assigned for electrical-related items with no supervisionConduct field work and complete field reports on electrical-related items to verify design with no supervisionSupervise and mentor interns, designers and EITs in the development of electrical systems for client projectsSeal final contract documents as assignedExpert knowledge of all required building codesExpert knowledge of client design standardsProficient in lighting and lighting controlsProficient in fire alarm systemsProficient in power and power distribution systems, including emergency powerProficient in technology systemsSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p.
