OCI Security Architect - Cloud Security

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Cloud Security ArchitectWe are seeking experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Cloud Security Architects to support enterprise cloud security initiatives within large scale OCI environments. This role focuses on designing and implementing security architecture across the OCI platform including identity, networking, data protection, and cloud workload security. The architect will work closely with engineering and DevOps teams to embed security controls into modern cloud delivery pipelines while supporting enterprise governance and compliance requirements. This role is part of a large consulting delivery program supporting enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.Responsibilities:Design and implement cloud security architecture for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environmentsImplement and manage OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM) including dynamic groups, compartments, policies, and identity federationSecure OCI networking including:VCN architectureSecurity listsNSGsPrivate endpointsLoad balancersDesign and implement secure landing zones and enterprise cloud governance modelsImplement cloud security posture management and monitoringDeploy and configure OCI native security services including:OCI Vault / Key ManagementOCI Cloud GuardSecurity ZonesData SafeConduct threat modeling and security risk assessments for OCI workloadsPartner with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelinesSupport enterprise security and regulatory compliance initiatives including:SOXPCIHIPAA (where applicable)Provide guidance on secure architecture patterns for containerized and microservices environmentsRequired Skills:5+ years experience in cloud security architectureHands-on experience securing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environmentsStrong experience implementing:OCI IAMVCN networking securityEncryption and key managementKnowledge of cloud security frameworks including:NISTCIS benchmarksExperience securing containerized or microservices environmentsExperience working within large enterprise or consulting delivery environmentsPreferred Qualifications:OCI Security Professional certificationExperience supporting large scale enterprise consulting engagementsKnowledge of multi cloud security architectures including AWS and AzureExperience with DevSecOps or secure CI/CD pipelinesLocation: Texas preferred Dallas Houston Austin San Antonio (Consulting delivery model, flexibility depending on program needs)Engagement Type: Consulting Contract
