Job Description

Discovery Management Group is a senior living organization that manages and enhances senior living communities across the United States, serving residents and families with more than 15,000 units nationwide.

Your Role

As the Caregiver at The Forum at Memorial Woods, you will provide hands‑on care and emotional support to residents, maintaining a safe and comfortable home‑like environment.

Position Highlights

Status: FULL TIME

Schedule: 6:00am – 2:00pm

Rate of Pay: $15.25 per hour

What You’ll Do

Responsible for a designated group of residents during shifts; ensure awareness of their whereabouts and conduct frequent checks.

Provide daily personal care support, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating assistance.

Respond promptly to security system alerts and resident call bells.

Help residents maintain independence while promoting dignity, safety, and overall well‑being.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas.

Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to residents.

Engage residents in meaningful life skill activities and enrichment programs.

Notify supervisor or healthcare coordinator if a resident’s care needs increase.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Certified Nurse’s Aid (CNA) certification preferred.

High school diploma or GED required.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Prior experience working with seniors preferred.

Strong communication skills with residents, team members, and leadership.

Compassionate, resident‑focused approach with superior customer service skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Sound judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
