Warehouse Picker

Brief Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day shipping and warehouse operations, ensuring that orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Pick, pre-pack, check, and prepare products for shipment with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Operate handheld scanners, hand tools, and forklifts to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Perform quality control (QC) checks on picked items and final shipments.
• Properly pack, seal, label, and attach packing lists to all outbound shipments.
• Load carrier trucks with the correct shipments and accompanying paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring aisles remain clear and safe.
• Follow daily work schedules and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Assist with other tasks or departments as needed, based on workload.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and company procedures.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Basic computer skills; familiarity with Word, Excel, and Outlook is a plus.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Occasional overtime and shift flexibility may be required.

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced warehouse, shipping, or receiving environment preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that require standing, bending, and reaching.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures (extreme heat/cold).
