What is Mage

Mage is an open‑source data pipeline tool for transforming and integrating data, the modern replacement for Airflow. It includes features such as orchestration, a notebook editor, data integrations, streaming pipelines, and DBT support.

Data engineers use Mage to:

Integrate and synchronize data from third‑party sources.

Build real‑time and batch pipelines to transform data using Python, SQL, and R.

Run, monitor, and orchestrate thousands of pipelines without losing sleep.

Responsibilities

Build beautiful and intuitive data tools for developers.

Design technical architecture for backend applications, API servers, data pipelines, etc.

Create innovative product ideas.

Qualifications

+5 years of front‑end experience using the latest web technologies and frameworks.

Front‑end work experience with React.

Experience writing technical design documents.

Can work autonomously and collaborate with other engineers.
