This role plays a critical part in providing safe, reliable, and well-maintained housing for active-duty service members and their families. Technicians are empowered to independently troubleshoot issues and complete repairs while adhering to safety, quality, and military installation standards.Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on residential homes, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and building systemsTroubleshoot and diagnose equipment and system issues to determine appropriate repair solutionsRespond to service requests and emergency maintenance calls in a timely and professional mannerConduct move-in, moveout, and routine home inspections to ensure quality standards are metMaintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventory using company systemsFollow all safety protocols, OSHA requirements, and military installation regulationsCommunicate effectively with residents, supervisors, and team members to ensure excellent service deliveryAssist with special projects, renovations, and community improvement initiatives as neededQualificationsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required1+ years of experience in residential, facilities, or maintenance workWorking knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenanceAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and work ordersValid driver's license and ability to operate company vehiclesAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, climbing)Preferred QualificationsHVAC, electrical, or maintenance certificationsExperience working in residential housing or property management environmentsFamiliarity with CMMS or workorder tracking systemsExperience working on or near military installationsEPA Universal CertificationSkills & CompetenciesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsCustomer service mindset with professionalism and respectAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAttention to detail and quality workmanshipCommitment to safety and compliance standardsWork Environment & Physical RequirementsWork performed within occupied residential homes and outdoor community areasExposure to noise, dust, tools, equipment, and varying weather conditionsStanding, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting requiredUse of required personal protective equipment (PPE)Military Friendly Employer StatementLiberty Military Housing proudly supports veterans, military spouses, and individuals familiar with military communities.Equal Opportunity EmployerLiberty Military Housing is an equal opportunity employer and maintains a discrimination free workplace.
