Technical support to make application security compliant. Responsible for tech precepts implementation and contractually responsible to be part of a 24/7 on call rotation.Key Responsibilities:System Design & Implementation: Design, install, configure, and test operating systems, application software, and system management tools.Monitoring & Maintenance: Proactively monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability.Security & Redundancy: Implement and maintain robust security measures, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans.Automation & Scripting: Develop custom scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across hardware, software, and network components.Collaboration: Work closely with developers, management, and other departments to understand requirements and deliver solutions.Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for system architecture, procedures, and support.Technology Evaluation: Research and assess emerging technologies for potential upgrades or new implementations.Required Skills:Experience: 2+ years of experience in system engineering, testing, or DevOps roles.CI/CD Knowledge: Proven experience configuring CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and automated testing tools.Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix, version control (Git), and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar).Methodology: Familiarity with Agile development practices.Education: Bachelor's degree in STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)Preferred Skills:Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with test frameworksDesired Attributes:Strategic thinking and big-picture perspective.Strong time management and organizational skills.A passion for IT and continuous learning.
