Job Description

Manage the data backup system and perform restorations as needed

Direct the PC Support Technician and review daily workload priorities as requested by IT Administrator

Work with Data Specialist to insure accurate and timely data processing as needed

Manage the servers and network equipment

Install hardware and software as required

Perform special projects from time to time on a school by school basis

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred or comparable experience and/or industry certification

Must have significant experience with all aspects of Active Directory including software deployment and group policies

Must have experience with networking equipment (HP Aruba preferred) and have solid understanding of VLANs, TCP/IP, & Wireless APs (Extreme preferred)

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot network problems

Broad knowledge of PC hardware and software

Experience with firewalls and content filtering

Experience with VMWare managements and virtualization environments

Experience with network and cyber security. Able to keep the network patched and running, including end point protection

Maintain system backup and recovery services

Experience with Google Workspace and a Chrome Environment

Must have 3 letters of recommendation

At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred

Bachelor degree preferred

Citizenship, residency or work visa required
