What you will do
Tool Maker
Read and interpret engineering drawings, die designs, and GDamp;T
Build, assemble, and debug progressive dies and advanced tooling
Operate manual machines (mill, grinder, lathe, drill press) safely and accurately
Perform die tryouts, repairs, sharpening, and maintenance
Inspect tooling and parts using precision measuring instruments
Recommend tooling improvements and document changes
Mentor Tool amp; Die Maker I amp; II employees
Follow all safety and compliance requirements
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in tool amp; die making preferred
5+ years of experience in tool amp; die making with strong manufacturing background
Familiarity with CAD software for die design or modification
Experience with manual machining, advanced die assembly, inspection, and troubleshooting
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and move frequently during shifts
Regularly lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs)
Strong vision, dexterity, and focus for detailed precision work
Physical and mental stamina to perform repetitive tasks safely and effectively
