CDL Class A DriverIndustry: Transportation / Trucking & Logistics Locations: Memphis, Tennessee / Fontana, California Start Date: First week of October Employment: Fall/Winter seasonal hiring with potential for long-term employment based on performanceRole: CDL Class A DriverAvailable Opportunities:Team CDL Driver – Cross-country routesLocal CDL Driver – Routes within approximately a 500-mile radiusPay Rate:Team CDL Drivers: $0.60 per mile per truck / $0.30 per mile per driver Local CDL Drivers: $25–$27 per hour, depending on terminalDriving Responsibilities:Operate tractor-trailers with 53-foot dry van trailers Team Drivers operate cross-country routes as part of a two-driver team Local Drivers operate routes within approximately a 500-mile radius Perform safe pickup, transport, and delivery of freight Conduct required vehicle inspections before and after trips Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures Maintain required driving records and documentation Communicate effectively with dispatch and transportation teamsRelocation & Travel:Airfare or travel arrangements may be covered when applicable Optional housing may be available near Memphis Candidates are responsible for applicable room rental costs Team Drivers typically stay in the truck while traveling Transportation to the work terminal is not providedJob Requirements:Minimum 3 years of CDL driving experience required Valid CDL Class A required CDL must have no disqualifying restrictions; automatic transmission restriction is accepted Must be able to speak and understand English Experience operating 53-foot dry van trailers required or strongly preferred Team Drivers must be comfortable with cross-country team driving Local Drivers must be comfortable driving routes within approximately 500 miles Mexican binational CDL may be considered with additional required insurance documentation Strong safety record required Must comply with DOT driving and safety regulationsPre-Employment Requirements:DOT 10-panel drug test required before starting Drug test must be completed through the authorized process Random drug testing may be required during employment through the DOT Clearinghouse
