Application Support Engineer

Job Description

Charlotte, NC

Compensation based on experience and skills ranging from $75,000-$110,000 per year

Curtis Power Solutions, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for an Application Support Engineer at our location in Charlotte, NC.

Technical Knowledge

Review and interpret project design documents and scope of work, enhance product knowledge of MTU and power equipment as necessary to fully understand total power solution provided.

Initiate, coordinate, procure and assemble technical submittal documents for channel review and approval.

Develop, modify, or procure technical drawings for onsite coordination of interconnects or conduit layouts.

Learn and understand advanced concepts of building electrical distribution systems and how to apply power generation equipment and related technical scope of work.

Provide technical support to Sales / Project Management Team.

Develop, modify, or procure one-line diagrams for project designs.

Communication / Customer Interface

Be the communication hub for internal/external partners to guide project to a successful turnover to the end-user from inception to close-out.

Project schedule alignment to meet customer and project expectations.

Salesforce lead to coordinate quality up-to-date opportunity data.

Weekly coordination with sales/project management team for application support and submittal duties.

Understand and respond to customer’s sense of urgency evidenced by consistent and timely communication.

Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when dealing with customers (internal & external).

Additional Responsibilities may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

Knowledge of the power industry and 3-phase power.

Proven ability to communicate effectively.

High level of productivity output.

Presentation skills.

Detail oriented.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize demands.

Respond effectively to changes in workload, schedules, and environment.

Engineering Degree preferred; Electrical or Mechanical related.
