Required Skills:Minimum of 5 years' experience in Tandem/Cobol DevelopmentProficiency in COBOL, Pathway, TACL, Enscribe, FUP, SCUP, Peruse, Inspect, NetbatchUnderstanding of Legacy Systems best practicesProven ability to understand existing processes and codePrevious experience with Mainframe is a plusKey Duties and Responsibilities:Coordination of development activities for a team of 1-5 developersSystem requirement specifications development for medium to large program segmentsCreation of detailed system requirement specificationsTechnical Design Document developmentCoding of applications, databases, interface programsConduct peer reviews and unit testsCreate Unit Test casesDocumenting of code and system functionalityTroubleshoot and update code to address defects and enhancementsEnsure consistency and quality in development hand-offs to and from vendor organization.
