Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in need of a Python and Java Developer in AWS. Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and support full-stack applications using Java, Python, and modern web technologies

Develop REST APIs, microservices, backend services, and responsive web applications

Develop and optimize solutions using relational and NoSQL databases

Design secure, scalable, highly available applications in cloud and hybrid environments

Participate in architecture discussions, technical design sessions, and code reviews

Create automated unit, integration, and performance tests to improve application quality

Partner with DevOps teams on CI/CD automation, containerization, and cloud deployments

Diagnose production issues and provide ongoing technical support

Maintain technical documentation and provide guidance to junior developers

Build front-end solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue

Develop and optimize solutions using relational and NoSQL databases

Design secure, scalable, highly available applications in cloud and hybrid environments

Participate in architecture discussions, technical design sessions, and code reviews

Create automated unit, integration, and performance tests to improve application quality

Partner with DevOps teams on CI/CD automation, containerization, and cloud deployments

Diagnose production issues and provide ongoing technical support

Maintain technical documentation and provide guidance to junior developers

Requirements

Strong development experience with Java, including Spring Boot/Spring Framework, and Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django

Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, React, Angular, or similar front-end technologies

Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture

Experience with SQL, data modeling, query optimization, and relational or NoSQL databases

Hands-on AWS experience with services such as EC2, S3, RDS/Aurora, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC

Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker, Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or comparable DevOps technologies

Experience developing and supporting cloud-native or hybrid-cloud applications

Knowledge of application security, authentication, authorization, and access management practices

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
