Sr. Systems Engineer

Sr. Systems EngineerSOSi is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support operations and sustainment of a mission-critical enterprise application supporting federal business operations.The Senior Systems Engineer will provide technical leadership supporting production operations, infrastructure integration, database technologies, release management, and enterprise system performance within a large IBM mainframe environment.Responsibilities:Support IBM z/OS production environments.Maintain and support IDMS database environments.Support production deployments and release activities.Troubleshoot system performance issues and production incidents.Support configuration management and technical documentation.Coordinate system changes across technical teams.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted.10+ years supporting enterprise systems.Experience supporting mission-critical production operations.Strong IBM mainframe experience.IBM z/OS, IDMS, Oracle, Cognos, Broadcom Endevor, Production Operations, System Integration.Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.Preferred:Large-scale financial or ERP systems.Federal enterprise environments.Work Environment:Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locationsRemote or Hybrid work modelCore hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700.May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needsWorking at SOSi:All interested individuals will receive consideration and will not be discriminated against for any reason.
