About the job Network Engineer-IT

Description

Responsibilities include implementation, maintenance, support, and development of communications network.

Data Analysis/Communication/Issue Resolution - Prevention

Network configuration and troubleshooting.

Plan, design, and implement unified communications and collaboration infrastructure projects.

Create and present designs and oversee implementations.

Requires continuous monitoring of companys systems.

Design documentation with purpose statements, test plans, required personnel, hardware resources, cost estimates, and schedules.

Other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Efficiencies - Cost Reduction Implement warehouse efficiencies and cost reduction programs to assist the company in making better merchandise flow decisions by conducting thorough analysis on key areas which are causing product and delivery issues.

Build and maintain a work environment that is positive and is supported by open feedback and two-way communication at all levels.

Team Leadership Responsible for maintaining a positive work environment while supporting the companys culture.

Responsible for fostering a healthy and safe work environment, focusing on the well-being of all associates.

Maintains and strengthens internal, external customer, and supplier relationships. Communicates and works well with all business partners.

Ensures inventory management and merchandise allocation flows product through the warehouse in the most cost efficient and productive manner.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience Requires bachelors degree in IT or relevant technical degree or equivalent experience.

Working experience of 1 to 3 years as network administrator.

Able to configure, install, and troubleshoot networking devices and firewall.

Good working knowledge on Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.

Knowledge in Linux is an advantage.

Must be fluent in English.

Essential Skills: Flexible to work overtime for special projects or business supports.

Strong in written and oral communication skills

Ability to multi-task and tasks prioritization.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Effectively communicates concepts with various levels of the organization.

Must maintain strong attention to detail.

Working Condition

Must be able to tolerate moderate to high noise levels in a warehouse environment. Office and outside environmental conditions are found in the warehouse, hot in the summer, cold in the winter. Individuals may need to walk for an extensive period while working and walking the facilities; to reach over shoulder heights; bend or stoop below the waist; repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement; occasional lifting to 40 pounds.
