Job Description

Executive AssistantAxos Bank is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Executive Assistant to provide high-level executive support to the President, Consumer & Small Business Bank. As part of the Office of the President, this role serves as the President's primary executive support while providing designated support to the Consumer & Small Business Bank senior leadership team, including calendar management, travel coordination, expense management, meeting support, departmental activity coordination, and other administrative support as business needs require.This position serves as a trusted partner to the President, Consumer & Small Business Bank by proactively managing priorities, coordinating across senior leaders and business partners, and supporting the effective execution of key meetings, executive deliverables, and business initiatives. The Executive Assistant will have visibility into highly confidential business, personnel, financial, operational, and strategic matters and must consistently demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, discretion, and integrity. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipates needs, manages competing priorities effectively, and operates with a high degree of independence, accountability, and attention to detail. This is a full-time onsite position based in Axos Bank's San Diego headquarters.Responsibilities:Provide high-level executive support to the President, Consumer & Small Business Bank, managing a complex calendar, travel, meetings, priorities, and executive deliverablesAnticipate needs, identify risks or conflicts, and proactively recommend solutions to enhance executive effectivenessManage special projects, track action items, and provide status updates on key initiativesCoordinate leadership meetings, business reviews, strategic planning sessions, governance activities, conferences, and executive events, including logistics, materials preparation, and follow-upTriage customer and executive escalations, ensuring timely resolution and communicationSupport audit, committee, board, and governance deliverables, ensuring accuracy, quality, confidentiality, and timely submissionPrepare, review, and distribute executive communications, presentations, agendas, briefing materials, and reportsManage expense reporting, corporate card administration, and administrative operations for the Office of the PresidentServe as a liaison between executive leadership and internal and external stakeholders, ensuring professional communication and coordinationSupport onboarding, departmental operations, special assignments, and other administrative functions as neededMaintain a daily on-site presence in the San Diego officeQualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years of executive support experience, including support of senior leaders (VP+); C-suite support preferredFinancial services, banking, or other regulated industry experience preferredExceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing executive, board, and governance materialsStrong judgment, discretion, and ability to handle confidential informationProfessional executive presence with the ability to interact effectively with senior leaders, clients, regulators, and external partnersHighly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProactive, resourceful, and capable of working independently while exercising sound decision-makingAdvanced Microsoft 365 proficiency, including leveraging AI and productivity tools to improve efficiency and effectivenessAxos Employee Benefits May Include:Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life InsurancePaid Sick Leave, 3 weeks' Vacation, and Holidays (about 11 a year)HSA or FSA account and other voluntary benefits401(k) Retirement Saving Plan with Employer Match Program and 529 Savings PlanEmployee Mortgage Loan Program and free access to an Axos Bank Account with Self-Directed TradingBorn digital-first, Axos delivers financial tools and services that allow individuals, small businesses, and companies to access and manage their money how, when, and where they want.
