Network & Security Solutions Architect

Senior Solutions ArchitectAs a Senior Solutions Architect, you'll be a key member of a project team, guiding the overall architecture for IT solutions to support the client's business strategy. You will be a visionary, defining the direction for future projects and acting as a change agent to introduce improved methods and newer technologies. This role involves working across all business areas, building consensus, and executing solutions throughout the project lifecycle, from initial kickoff to implementation, ensuring all applications and servers are built with best practices, reusability, and a deep understanding of business needs.ResponsibilitiesCreate formal Conceptual and Solution Architectures and present them to senior leadership and the Enterprise Architecture Review Council.Proactively assist in defining the direction for future projects, conceiving strategies, and building consensus for new solutions.Serve as a change agent, challenging the status quo and helping teams embrace improved methods and newer technologies.Ensure all solutions are designed with best practices, reusability, and a clear understanding of how to use technology to meet business needs.Participate in all aspects of the project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, and implementation.Interface across all business areas, effectively bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.QualificationsA minimum of eight (8) to fifteen (15) years of experience in multiple IT areas, with five (5) to seven (7) years of dedicated technology architecture experience.Extensive, hands-on experience with Network Access Control (NAC), Cisco ISE, and Cisco DNA.Bachelor’s degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.Well-grounded in principles of architectural modeling, service-oriented architecture, enterprise information management, and software design and development.Proven success as a Solutions Architect for two or more large-scale, heterogeneous IT programs.Demonstrated ability to design and implement solutions that effectively solve complex business problems.Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
