Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Oracle PL/SQL Developer Raleigh, NC (Remote)

12 months Contract with possibility to extension

Leads, analyzes, designs, develops, and implements modules relating to fulfilment of Client’s Financial System and Public-School Unit External Cash and Expenditure.

Responsibilities: Evaluates, understands, and implements detailed business, functional, and non-functional technical requirements (including recovery, security, data volumes, performance and audit)

Lead and support tasks on engagements related but not limited to Systems Implementation, Operations & Maintenance, and Software Application Development

Leads, analyzes, designs, develops, and implements modules relating to financial systems.

Working with application teams and other stakeholders

Develop, test and support solutions utilizing Oracle RDBMS

Be able to write Stored Procedures, Queries, Views, and ad hoc Reports.

Work with Business owners and project manager to assess impact and provide estimates.

Interact with client/end users to understand requirements/regulations/reports/environment issues.

Maintain project documentation and follow SDLC process obligations.

Design, develop, and maintain applications, reports and data structures needed for line of business applications in an Oracle environment.

Familiarity with Oracle APEX

Participate in process analysis to help produce and refine requirements and create technical solutions.

Database performance monitoring, SQL tuning and analysis, troubleshooting, and data concurrency analysis

Skills: Strong understanding of relational databases (including tables, views, indexes, table spaces)

Good knowledge and understanding of Oracle API’s and PL/SQL

Help determine best design approaches.

Ability to work in a complex data environment the ability to partner with the business and IT to find creative data solutions to business problems.

Be involved in the planning of system and development deployment responsible for meeting software compliance standards.

Involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle.

Required 5 Years Good knowledge and understanding of Oracle API’s and PL/SQL

Required 5 Years Help determine best design approaches.

Required 5 Years Ability to work in a complex data environment the ability to partner with the business and IT to find creative data solutions to business problems.
