Purpose To provide assistance to the teaching staff in a child care environment. Responsible for providing a variety of functions in support of the teaching efforts in a child care and learning environment.

Responsibilities Provide supervision and positive guidance to children according to developmentally appropriate practices.

Assist with the implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum.

Attend annual training.

Provide daily communication with parents.

Assist in providing a safe and healthy environment for children.

Other related functions as assigned.

Required Qualifications High school graduation or GED.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with children ages 0-5 years. Stable work history.

Salary Range $12/hour

$13/hour for Work Study

Work Shift Part time available. We are currently giving preference to candidates with availability to work 30 - 40 hours per week. We are open 7:15-5:45 M-F
