Job Description

Software DeveloperWe are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Front-End Developer to join our team and help build intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for our web applications. This role is ideal for someone passionate about user experience, design systems, and modern front-end technologies.Work Schedule:M-F 40 hours a weekEssential Responsibilities:Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using modern front-end frameworks.Collaborate with UX/UI developers and back-end developers to deliver seamless user experiences.Translate design mockups and wireframes into clean, efficient code.Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility.Implement responsive designs that work across various devices and screen sizes.Ensure cross-browser compatibility and maintain code quality through testing and reviews.Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing systems.Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Python, C+, JavaScript, and TypeScript.Experience with modern frameworks/libraries such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).Strong attention to detail and a passion for clean, maintainable code.Exposure to Agile development environments.Clearance Required: TS/SCI Full Scope PolyMinimum Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum Years of Experience: 5Preferred Qualifications:Experience with design systems and component libraries.Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices.Experience with performance optimization and analytics tools.3 years of experience in AWS Cloud Development.Other Responsibilities:Safety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
