Senior Data EngineerLocation: Houston, TXSalary Range: $160,000-$175,000The ideal candidate is a hands-on, highly independent Data Engineer with prior energy industry and ETRM experience who can take requirements, determine the right technical approach, and build and troubleshoot solutions with minimal oversight.Key Qualifications:Senior-level Data Engineering experienceEnergy, power, commodities, or trading industry experience – REQUIREDETRM system experience – REQUIRED (PCI strongly preferred)Strong Python, SQL, NoSQL, and Power BIHands-on Snowflake or comparable data lake/platform experience, such as DatabricksExperience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting data pipelines and integrationsUnderstanding of pricing data, trading workflows, market operations, and/or commercial energy dataAbility to independently own technical solutions from requirements through executionStrong communication skills and experience working directly with business stakeholdersThis person will help own the data platform, support and enhance existing pipelines, build new integrations, and support data used across commercial, trading, pricing, operational, analytics, and forecasting functions.
