Finance Manager Commercial & Operational Finance

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support a large, complex, multi-site food services account. This role will provide financial leadership, commercial insight, and operational finance support to account and site leadership while partnering closely with client stakeholders.

The Finance Manager will act as a trusted financial business partner to Operations, helping drive financial performance, forecasting accuracy, cost control, contractual compliance, and sustainable growth across the account.

This position combines commercial finance, operational finance, financial planning and analysis, contract management, and client relationship management. The successful candidate will translate financial and operational data into actionable insights, identify risks and opportunities, and influence decisions that improve both financial and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the finance business partner to account and operational leadership across a large, multi-site food services operation.
• Provide proactive financial insight into business performance, risks, opportunities, and emerging trends.
• Establish strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and within the client organization.
• Review site-level financial results, labor, food costs, expenses, productivity, and other key operational drivers.
• Lead monthly site-level variance reviews and work with Operations to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Support site leadership in understanding financial drivers and improving financial ownership.
• Act as a key financial and commercial subject matter expert for the client account.
• Support contract reviews, amendments, change notices, pricing reviews, and commercial initiatives.
• Lead and coordinate monthly forecasting, budgeting, estimates, and long-range planning activities for the account.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve forecasting processes and methodologies.
• Serve as a key finance contact for the client, developing a collaborative and trusted relationship.
• Prepare and present financial information for monthly and quarterly business reviews and other client meetings.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and direction to finance team members supporting the account.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive finance or financial management experience.
• Preferable experience supporting operations in a multi-site, service-based, food, hospitality, facilities management, outsourcing, or similar environment.
• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working with ERP and financial reporting systems.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience working directly with clients or external stakeholders.

• Sitting at a computer for long periods of time, at least 90% of the time
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds
• Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods

The annual salary range for this position is $130000.00 - $140000.00. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the above range.
