Database Developer Apex Systems, the nation’s 2nd largest Information Technology staffing firm, has an opportunity for a Database Developer to work for one of our local clients here in Orlando, FL.
Applicants must have minimum 3 years of Database Development experience and have technical experience with PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle.
Position Details:
Position: Database Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 month contract
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
Digging into code and working alongside others to create solutions for unobvious problems.
Building tables, indexes, and models with PL/SQL
Coming up with clear/obvious structure within systems of tables
Primarily OLTP development and on-prem platform
Identifying gaps between systems
Maintenance and fixes within Oracle
Required Skills:
3+ years of PL/SQL (stored procedures, triggers, views)
SQL
Oracle 19c
Project details:
The Company recently had an acquisition; they’ve been comparing and contrasting the two environments and wanting to move towards a more modernized platform.
