Data EngineerLocation: Chicago, IL (On-site / Hybrid as required) Term: Direct HireKey Technical Requirements & Preferences:Core Skills: Strong SQL & Python (Required)Data Tools: Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure Data Factory (Required)Domain Experience: Financial Services / Asset Management experience is highly preferredCertifications: Microsoft / Fabric / Azure certifications are highly desiredArchitecture Strategy: Familiarity with Kimball methodologies and Medallion architecture for a quick ramp-up.Role Dynamics & Focus:Split: 70% Engineering / 30% ArchitectureAutonomy: Must be able to design solutions and execute independently with little-to-no guidance.Current Projects: Modernization of the Enterprise Data Platform was recently completed; the focus is now on optimization and operational excellence.Key Stakeholders: Sits within and primarily supports the Business Technology Group.What They're Looking For:Strong expertise in SQL and Python.Direct experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Factory.Financial services or asset management experience is a plus, but not required.
