Lead the Backbone of IT Infrastructure Are you an experienced network professional ready to take ownership of enterprise-level systems and lead complex technical initiatives? Do you thrive in a role where your decisions directly impact network performance, security, and scalability?

CompuOne Corporation - a full-service managed IT services provider headquartered in San Diego - is seeking a Network Administrator to join our Illinois technical team. This is your opportunity to play a vital role in designing, managing, and securing advanced network environments across multiple client sites.

What You'll Do: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for end users via phone, email, remote tools, and ticketing system.

Lead the design, implementation, and support of scalable network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, etc.).

Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Office desktop apps.

Install, update, and troubleshoot operating systems, business applications, and antivirus tools.

Monitor and optimize network performance, availability, and security using industry best practices.

Provide network troubleshooting, including connectivity, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, escalating and coordinating with vendors as needed.

Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Office 365.

Oversee system audits, documentation, and disaster recovery planning.

Serve as a technical lead on network projects and mentor junior team members.

Stay ahead of emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

Travel to client sites locally as needed (mileage reimbursement provided).

What You Bring to the Table: 2 + years of experience in network administration and IT infrastructure support.

Proven expertise in switching, routing, and firewall management.

Advanced knowledge of network security practices and access controls.

Strong command of Microsoft environments, including Office 365 and Active Directory.

Experience managing virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, ESXi, Azure).

Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.

Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT, Networking, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified preferred.

Experience working in an MSP (Managed Services Provider) environment is a plus.
