Warehouse Associate

In this position, you'll work in a clean, temperature-controlled facility using modern equipment and technology to ensure products are accurately stored, picked, packaged, and shipped to customers on time.

What You'll Do
  • Receive finished products from production and safely store them in designated warehouse locations.
  • Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and electronic pick lists.
  • Operate stand-up forklifts and cherry pickers to move, organize, and retrieve materials.
  • Build and secure pallets for shipment while ensuring product quality.
  • Pack, wrap, and label products according to shipping requirements.
  • Process outbound shipments using shipping software, including UPS WorldShip.
  • Maintain organized storage, staging, and shipping areas.
  • Follow established safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve inventory, shipping, or order-related issues.
  • Help maintain a clean, efficient, and safe work environment.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of experience operating a stand-up forklift or similar powered industrial vehicle.
  • Experience with stand-up forklifts and/or cherry pickers in a warehouse setting.
  • Shipping and receiving experience, including order picking and pallet preparation.
  • Experience using RF scanners for inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Basic computer skills and comfort working with shipping software.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with inks, paints, chemicals, or similar products.
  • Previous experience in a clean, temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with shipping, packing, labeling, and sorting processes.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team-oriented culture.
  • Strong organizational skills and a focus on accuracy.

Work Environment

You'll work in a well-lit, organized, and temperature-controlled warehouse that prioritizes safety and efficiency. The facility utilizes stand-up forklifts, cherry pickers, RF scanners, and computerized shipping systems to support daily operations. Most work is performed in a clean warehouse setting, with only a mild ink-related odor present in limited areas near the ink lab. Typical hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, offering a consistent daytime schedule.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
