Technical Program Manager

Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead complex technical programs involving release management, cloud operations, DevOps, cost governance, and vendor management . The ideal candidate should be technically strong, highly organized, and comfortable coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end software release process , including planning, scheduling, deployment, rollout, and release readiness.

Coordinate multiple teams, release schedules, dependencies, risks, and deliverables .

Lead large-scale technical and operational programs across multiple engineering teams.

Track program roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items .

Partner with Engineering and Finance teams on cloud costs, budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization .

Support business operations , including workforce tracking, planning, reporting, and process compliance.

Manage vendors, contractors, purchase orders, SOWs, invoices, renewals, and onboarding/offboarding .

Drive continuous improvement across Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and release processes .

Communicate program status, risks, and issues to technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership .

Required Skills 10+ years of Technical Program Management / Technical Project Management experience.

Strong experience with Release Management and Release Governance .

Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and version control .

Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP .

Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes .

Strong risk management, dependency tracking, reporting, and documentation skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams without direct authority .

Strong Excel and reporting/BI skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment .

Preferred Skills Cloud cost tools such as CloudHealth or Apptio

Vendor management and procurement experience

Experience with POs, SOWs, contracts, and invoicing

PMP, ITIL, or SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification

Ideal Candidate Profile Look for candidates with titles such as Technical Program Manager, Senior Technical Program Manager, Technical Project Manager, Release Program Manager, Release Manager, or Program Manager who have strong Release Management + Cloud/DevOps + cross-functional program delivery experience.

Important: Candidate must be able to work hybrid in Mountain View, CA – 3 days onsite per week .
